La Rencontre

The La Rencontre project consists in travelling an old Aboriginal historical pathway commonly called Sentier des Jésuites, located in the heart of the Laurentian Mountain Range, between Lake Saint-Jean and Quebec City. This project is both bold and original. First, because it brings together in a collective endeavour Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals. Next, because it offers a tangible and accessible opportunity to act in a positive manner that appeals to young people and that, above all, is effective in promoting the physical, psychological and spiritual health of the young participants.

A team of professionals (Program facilitators from the INAQ Co-op) will be responsible for the evaluation, preparation (physical and mental), accompaniment and individualized follow-up on the young people forming the group. The INAQ Co-op is also in charge of the logistics and safety aspects.
